• 100% Mulberry Silk
• Hand or machine wash on a delicate cycle using cool water.
• Lay flat to dry.
• Do not tumble dry
• Iron on a low setting if still damp. Dampness protects the silk from over drying. *Do not steam as the heat will damage the fibres.
• Most detergents dry out silk fibers. We suggest either soap for silk, or biodegradable soaps, such as Seventh Generation.
• Do not use products that contain bleach, whiteners or softeners.
• Due to the delicate nature of the fibres used naturally occurring ‘minor defects’ may be present.
• Accessories and sprays should be used with extra care so that the quality of your hijabs are not compromised.

•Unlike polyester, nylon and synthetic hijabs commonly used, our silk hijabs do not contain petrochemicals and harmful dyes, kinder to your body, the environment and communities located around manufacturing plants.
•Being a natural fibre, silk is readily biodegradable. It can go on to produce useful mulch or compost, and hence soil.
•Provides employment to Silk Road artisans in rural populations in China where our silk mills for the production of these hijabs are located, the country that first developed sericulture thousands of years ago. They are then carefully dyed and hand rolled for a luxurious finish.
•Our Hijabs are made from 100% mulberry Silk. The special Bombyx Mori moths are only fed mulberry leaves. Their silkworms create cocoons which is spun into raw Silk fibres, resulting in what is classified as the finest silk in the world.
